There have been a lot of dates. First dates and last dates. Dates that meant nothing and dates that changed everything. Dates we marked on calendars and dates we never saw coming.
But out of all of them — every single one — this is the one we've been waiting for. The one we choose. The one we'll spend the rest of our lives remembering.

There's nothing remarkable about a Saturday.
Nothing remarkable about November.
But this Saturday, this November, we're choosing each other in front of the people we love - and that's what turns an ordinary date into the one we'll remember forever.
where the day takes us
Two places. One day.
Every day we've spent together had a place that held it. This one gets two. We begin where it's quiet, then carry the whole of it down to the water — one day passing, gently, from one into the other.

Then to the water's edge, where the day softens to gold and we stay until the last of the light.
And then there's only one thing left to say.
Some moments feel too big to keep quiet about.
Before the invitations go out and the planning takes over, we wanted to tell you first. We're getting married. And it wouldn't feel right without you there.
